Variation is the spice of life so it is said. A client had  a birthday gift given to her of a pet photoshoot and her pet was a beautiful silver tabby called jasmine. Jasmine is 16 years and didn’t always take too kindly to a man with a camera but once I accepted she was the boss we established a compromise and I got the shots the owner liked.

Here are a few from the session

Recently I was asked to photograph two young cockerpoos called Daisy and Duke in Cambridgeshire.  Two very lively happy little dogs and getting them both together was somewhat of a challenge.  The youngest – Daisy – was a birthday present to the owner and at the time was 10 months old.

Meet Rosie, a seven month old cocker full of life and with never ending energy and a blistering turn of speed of speed. She is also a good lap dog I am informed. The shoot was at Priory Park, Bedford  and despite being early morning she made the acquaintance of many other dogs but all on the best of terms.

A few shots from the shoot are below

I recently photographed two lovely dogs in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire on a lakeside walk.  Meg is a Border collie (4 years) and Flurry ( 3 years) a Hungarian Vizsla, two stunning and lively dogs. Whilst most know the highly intelligent Border Collie, the Vizsla is not quite so well know. The breed originated in Hungary as hunting dogs. They are loyal,  friendly and make wonderful family dogs. The breed is increasing in popularity in the Uk and now lists as one of the top 50 most popular breeds. Flurry was certainly lively and enjoyed jumping and retrieving as one would expect from his breeding. Meg also loved her ball and would wait relentlessly for it to be thrown so she could do it all over again !

Here are a few shots of the lovely Meg and Flurry from the day.

I met Raha (pronounced Raya) in June. She is a beautiful toy poodle who must be about 10 months old by now. She has won numerous well deserved rosettes in dog shows and is an extra lucky dog since her owner is also a dog groomer. We met to go on a local Bedfordshire walk and luckily the rain held off despite a few previous and necessary postponements. She is also a very fast little dog and it was hard to keep up with her. Here are a few shots from the shoot.
