You my ask what is a ‘Frug’ – I did as I hadn’t heard of the breed before. A Frug or Frenchie Pug as they are sometimes called is a small designer dog inheriting characteristics from both a French Bulldog and a Pug parent. Their ears can be upright like the Pug or straight. Mac mostly had one up so I expect he was getting the best of both worlds ! He was very affectionate and agile, demonstrating that in his playing on the beach in Priory Park, Bedford.

Here are a few shots from the morning

In September I had the opportunity to run a photo session with Arnie – a puppy Springer Spaniel. At the time of the shoot he was about 12 weeks. A simply beautiful dog and very photogenic. We conducted the shoot at a nearby ruined mansion house dating back to 17th Century, one of my favourite spots with lovely views over the countryside. I have attached a shot of this place in the images below for interest.

I was asked to photograph three whippets and if you know much about these dogs, they are fast !! Built for speed, these dogs originated from Greyhounds and their names derives from a word meaning to ‘move briskly’, Well they lived up to their name and  photographing these dogs in the sunshine was – interesting and testing. They are still the fastest accelerating dogs in the world with speed of up to 40 miles per hour hence being used for dog racing.  These three dogs, Alfie, Ebony and Ellie had a great time running after their ball and swimming in the river,

Here are a handful of shots from the afternoon.
