My name is Steve Jones and I have been a photographer all my life. I was bought up with a camera and learnt so much during those early years which included the handling of all my own processing and printing. I worked in a corporate world until 2009 when I decided to take the plunge into professional photography. It was a difficult transition but one for which I have few regrets.
My first foray into professionalism was a wedding and lifestyle business. I trained like never before, met wonderful like minded people in photography who are still friends and the commissions that followed were equally enjoyable. I had some great clients with whom I still keep in contact. In 2011 I felt I wanted to expand into other types of photography and after some soul-searching I set up DogsandMogs Photography. I have enjoyed every minute of working with my clients and their wonderful pets.
Lastly but by no means least, in 2012 I started an equine photography business as I love working with horses. I twinned horses with their owners combining my experience of working with people and animals. Horses added a new dimension to my photography with new and exciting challenges. I now even own my own horse. I won a 2015 Gold Award from the Royal Photographic Society chosen out of 3300 International images which was a proud moment for me.
